Scienceposters has been operating since 1999. The business has developed  primarily on a word of mouth basis and we now have clients from universities,  hospitals and pharmaceutical companies in both the UK and Europe.  Our service is novel as our designers have a scientific background, and have  attended many conferences and made their own research presentations. Hence we  have an understanding of the content of the poster as well as experience of what  is required to make the best looking poster from the content you supply.  Moreover, common mistakes made by "non-scientific" designers are minimised,  and we can advise and help with creating the most appropriate graphs and  illustrations for your data.   We have also been incorporated by several UK societies including the British Thoracic Society and Association of Surgeons of GB & Ireland as optional poster providers, and can give advice and help with meeting organisers to maximise poster sessions, as well as discounts for members using any of our services. Read here what the Bone Research Society have to say about Scienceposters                          We have also had favourable mentions in two  peer reviewed manuscripts  where they authors write about creating posters (Mayberry JF, PostGrad Med J 2007; 83: 596-598 and Pawa & Davidson, BMJ Careers 2008). We have also recently supplied "example" posters to a book published by  Oxford Radcliffe entitled "Creating Effective Conference Abstracts and Posters in Biomedicine ". The authors, Jane Fraser, Louise Fuller and Georgina Hutber are Independent consultants and trainers in scientific writing and communications skills and approached us as they were struggling to find examples of posters that illustrated  what they recommended. We also print on high quality satin photo paper (smudge proof) and only use Canon original inks that do not fade (unlike cheaper solvent inks)....you might find cheaper, but they will normally print on far inferior paper or use cheaper inks. A recent introduction has been printing onto fabric - after a successful trial with some fabric that we could run through our Canon machines, we have in 2012 purchased a dedicated fabric printer that prints onto a gorgeous silk material. It’s smudgeproof, waterproof, limited creasing and the print quality is superb. Scienceposters offers a unique, specialised service to researchers both nationwide and internationally. Our turnaround is quick, and more importantly extremely hassle free and easy.  We try to make the poster-process an enjoyable experience! Many thanks Dr Pete Anning
