All posters are sent next day delivery by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Scienceposters can print your own posters from a variety of packages* - simply email your poster or send using the file upload feature below this page and we will print the poster and return it to you via Royal Mail in a cardboard tube. We can print any paper poster from 84cm wide and almost as long as you like. We can print larger but these will need to be couriered due to Royal Mail size restrictions. Fabric posters (see below) can be printed much larger as they fold up into an A4 box. We can print 4’x8’ posters on silk for display on those enormous American poster boards! Key points of the service: Quick turnaround: Posters that are emailed for printing before 1pm are normally despatched the same day.Posters are normally sent Royal Mail Special Delivery (next day before 1pm). Very urgent posters can be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery before 9am for a small premium. Photo-quality printing: Posters are printed on 210gsm satin photo-paper at 1200dpi (photo quality). The paper is smudge proof and produces superb quality prints. We can also print onto a silk fabric for easier transportation. Print quality is excellent and silk posters are folded to fit in an A4 sized cardboard box. Tissue paper is used to minimise the chance of smudging and velcro tabs are also supplied (see below). There is some creasing but it is acceptable and the convenience far outweighs this Free proofing: Whilst we cannot guarantee that we will spot any mistakes/errors in your poster, if we do spot any obvious errors or problems we will be happy to mail you prior to printing so you can amend the poster. This is all part of the service and is free. We have spotted many errors in our print-only posters and have saved many an embarrassing moment for the presenter! Fabric posters: Your fabric poster is folded to fit into an A4 sized box. Creasing is minimal. Print quality is excellent (as good as paper) and we now use a silk material that is not translucent and takes velcro tabs. Fixing provided: We now send velcro stickies with all posters *Acrobat (pdf), Powerpoint, Freehand, Illustrator and Publisher files all accepted. PDF files are very much preferred however Standard sizes - we recommend when possible to keep to these sizes.
