The two most common errors we see as printers of scientific posters are easily avoidable.....
1.Always make your poster “actual size” Do not simply open powerpoint and make your poster - enter the dimensions and then make it - it makes designing it much easier, and the final print is much better as any images will be printed “as seen” rather than being scaled up by ~400%2.If possible send a pdf with fonts embedded, or if this is not possible, stick to standard fonts. Another common problem is with fonts and text “moving around”. This is especially common in powerpoint which is the devil of poster making programs in our opinion!
