Our service is novel as we have a scientific background, have attended many conferences and made our own research
presentations. Hence we have an understanding of the content of the poster as well as experience of how to design and/or print
so your poster looks as good as possible.
As of 1st April 2015, Scienceposters are trading as Ltd Company. Our company (Scienceposters Ltd) registration number is
9437226
We have been incorporated by several UK societies including the British Thoracic Society and Association of Surgeons of GB &
Ireland as optional poster providers, and can give advice and help with meeting organisers to maximise poster sessions, as well as
discounts for members using any of our services. Read here what the Bone Research Society have to say about Scienceposters
We have had favourable mentions in two peer reviewed manuscripts where the authors write about creating posters (Mayberry
JF, PostGrad Med J 2007; 83: 596-598 and Pawa & Davidson, BMJ Careers 2008).
We have also recently supplied "example" posters to a book published by Oxford Radcliffe entitled "Creating Effective Conference
Abstracts and Posters in Biomedicine ". The authors, Jane Fraser, Louise Fuller and Georgina Hutber are Independent consultants
and trainers in scientific writing and communications skills and approached us as they were struggling to find examples of posters
that illustrated what they recommended.
We utilise HP printers. We also print on high quality satin photo paper (smudge proof) and only use original inks that do not fade
(unlike cheaper solvent inks)....you might find cheaper, but they will normally print on far inferior paper or use cheaper inks. A
recent introduction has been printing onto fabric - we now have 2 printers that specifically print onto fabric at photo resolution.
We are continually trialling new fabrics and at present are using a “crease-free” fabric which gives superb print quality, is relatively
crease-free (no fabric is truly crease free!) and is light and easy to transport. The fabric posters are “hot-cut” at 1000
o
C sealing the
edges and ensuring no fraying occurs and are sent out in plastic boxes to ensure they arrive in optimum condition (ie not
creased/crushed by Royal Mail). Our A4 sized boxes can easily take 4 A0 posters and more impressively the massive 8’x4’ American
sized posters can also be printed and folded to fit into the same sized box.
Scienceposters offers a unique, specialised service to researchers both nationwide and internationally. Our turnaround is quick,
and more importantly extremely hassle free and easy. We try to make the poster-process an enjoyable experience!
"I have been using Scienceposters to print my posters for scientific
conferences for the past 2 years. They offer an extremely reliable and
personalised service with rapid turnaround times. The price is also
amongst the best available out there and that includes postage and
package to a personal address.
One of the best aspects of their service has been the personal attention of
Dr Pete Anning to ensure that my posters print out perfectly. Any
problems with the powerpoint or pdf files have been dealt with efficiently
and professionally and the end result has always been good.
One of their most recent products, the posters printed on silk fabric is
particularly nice. These posters look very nice and can be folded and
carried abroad in a A4 sized packet. This avoids the need to carry around
large poster tubes which can be a hassle when travelling abroad. They
were being offered at an extremely competitive price too."

Many thanks for the great poster- really
pleased with the final result and the delivery
to the venue. Your service and turnaround
time was impeccable. Would definitely
recommend you to colleagues and consider
you again if I needed more posters in future.
