Quick turnaround:
Posters that are emailed for printing before midday are normally despatched the next working day for delivery the following working day. For example
if you submit monday before noon we despatch tuesday and then delivery should be wednesday. . We now use DHL Express Parcel for deliveries - it is
a next day delivery service but it is not guaranteed. You should receive email and text notifications for tracking and should get a 1hr delivery window
and options for safe place etc.

Key points of the service
Foldable Fabric Printing:
Our most popular product is printing onto foldable fabric. Print quality is excellent and the posters are supplied folded in a useful A4 sized plastic
box. Fabric posters can be printed any size up to the massive US-sized 8x4 posters as they all will fold into the box! Creasing is minimal and
acceptable, and the fabric can be ironed using a low heat and no steam if necessary. All fabric posters are “hot-cut” at 1000
o
C so the edges are heat
sealed and no fraying occurs. Posters are supplied in a convenient post-proof plastic box - our slim boxes hold 1-2 posters whilst the normal ones
hold up to 4.
Update - from Sept 2016 we upgraded our fabric printers - the print quality now is even better - the colours even punchier and they are hard to
distinguish from paper prints
Fixings provided free of charge - we do not charge - these are for your convenience:
Paper posters:
We send velcro stickies - these work fine with paper posters.
Fabric posters:
Fabric posters are trickier as there is no velcro/tape adhesive that will stick permanently to PE fabric.
We now send 3 types of fixings.
1.
Push pins - these should be used whenever possible as they will not fall down
2.
Double sided tape (for smooth boards) and velcro tabs
3.
IMPORTANT - the velcro does not adhere to the poster so it is critical that the double sided tape is used as the filling of a
sandwich between the fabric and the velcro. It should be well rubbed in
2 Golden Rules when designing your poster
The two most common errors we see as printers of scientific posters are easily avoidable.....
1.
Always make your poster “actual size” Do not simply open powerpoint and make your poster - enter the dimensions and then make it - it makes
designing it much easier, and the final print is much better as any images will be printed “as seen” rather than being scaled up by ~400%
2.
If possible send a pdf with fonts embedded, or if this is not possible, stick to standard fonts. Another common problem is with fonts and text
“moving around” - sending a pdf file can minimise this happening
If you are not sure or need advice, give us a quick call or email your poster for us to check - we are happy to help!
Fabric poster ready for “hot-cutting”
To the right are links to powerpoint templates
that we recently paid a professional powerpoint
designer to make for us. Feel free to download
and use them. They are sized A0 and there is a
landscape and portrait version are available.
Whilst we do not recommend upscaling posters,
these templates will be fine for any “A” size as it is
fine to downscale from A0 to A1 or A2 as print
quality will not be lost.
Paper printing:
Posters are printed on 210gsm satin photo-paper. We can print paper posters up to A0 The paper is smudge proof and produces superb quality
prints and is supplied in a sturdy cardboard tube.
Photo-quality prints:
All posters are printed at the highest print setting of 1200dpi (photo quality). Paper print quality is superb. Fabric printing also produces excellent
photo reproduction as the image on the right displays.
